Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary

 Spread in an area of 14 acres of land, the Kumarakom Bird Sancruary is located on the banks of the Vembanad Lake in the state of Kerala in south India. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, known for it varied avian population is an ornithologist's paradise.
